Welcome Weekend 2011

University Communications & Marketing
The fall semester at Kent State University began with Welcome Weekend, a four-day orientation program that took place Aug. 25-28.

Welcome Weekend 2011 included a series of fun, exciting events designed to make students feel at home at Kent State and provide them with the information necessary to transition to life on campus.

During Welcome Weekend, students learn critical information that can be applied just in time for the start of classes, which began Aug. 29. The orientation program also offers a range of social activities where students can meet new friends, build pride in being a Kent State student and explore the Kent community.
